The University of Northern Iowa Reaching for Higher Ground Series will host two events to showcase the students' photography and writing on the topic. The first showcase will be at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28, in the Carver Academy cafeteria. The second event will be at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the Schindler Education Center on UNI's campus.

The second event will also feature a panel to discuss accessible education for every student. The discussions will address the best ways to provide education to students to help them achieve their goals and dreams.

Both events are free and open to the public. For additional information, contact Sarah Montgomery, assistant professor in UNI's College of Education, at 319-273-6757 or
