CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa Women’s and Gender Studies (WGS) program will commemorate its 40th anniversary with a celebration event from 5 to 8 p.m., March 3, in the Center for Multicultural Education (CME) on the UNI campus.
The event will feature emerita faculty member and former director Phyllis Baker as a speaker and a performance by alum Terry Stevens in addition to food, music and photo opportunities. The celebration is also an opportunity for networking with alumni and current students, recognizing the program’s history and raising awareness of the program on campus.
