Campaign strategy, diversity in leadership, and communication and public speaking strategies are among the topics that will be covered. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from speakers, participate in breakout discussions regarding the role of women in government and also network with female leaders from around the community.
The list of guest speakers and workshop leaders include: U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst, State Rep. Timi Brown-Powers, State Rep. Abby Finkenauer, Claire Celsi of The Public Relations Project, Angie Widner, NISG President Katie Evans, UNI Provost Jim Wohlpart and a representative from UNI’s National Coalition Building Institute.
