CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The first annual Cedar Valley Entrepreneurship Day will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 19, in the Commons Ballroom on the University of Northern Iowa campus. The event is sponsored by UNI's Business and Community Services (BCS) and College of Business Administration in conjunction with International Women's Entrepreneurship Day.
This networking event is intended to empower and celebrate women entrepreneurs by introducing them to various women-supported groups throughout the Cedar Valley. A variety of organizations will be present to share insight and involvement opportunities, including: the National Association of Women Business Owners, Visionary Entrepreneurial Women's Network and Polka Dot Powerhouse. Women, men, faculty members, students and community members are encouraged to attend.
The event is free and open to the public; light refreshments will be served. Attendees are asked to RSVP by Monday, Nov. 16, as space is limited.
