UNI to host feature speaker on ‘Lifetime Leadership Lessons from Nonprofit Organizations’

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa Institute for Youth Leaders will host Norman Dolch at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, April 7, in Room 252 of the Wellness and Recreation Center on UNI’s campus. Dolch will be the featured speaker for the 2016 McElroy Scholar Lecture, and his presentation will focus on “Lifetime Leadership Lessons from Nonprofit Organizations.”

Dolch is a retired professor from the University of North Texas and Louisiana State University Shreveport. In addition to extensive volunteerism and nonprofit work, Dolch’s professional career has included the following professorial positions: campus director of the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Program, director of Master of Science in Human Services Administration and founding editor-in-chief of the Journal of Nonprofit Education and Leadership. Dolch was also the recipient of the George A. Khoury Jr. Professorship of American Humanics.
