UNI Textile and Apparel program presents 11th annual spring runway show

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Students in the University of Northern Iowa's Textile and Apparel program will present their 11th annual runway show at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, in the Lang Hall auditorium. Among those participating is: (NAME) of (HOMETOWN).

The event is planned, managed and produced by students. The students also create all of the clothing and 'wearable art.' In addition to the show, seniors will showcase their portfolios before the event. The theme is global trends.

Work was juried and selected by featured UNI textile and apparel alumna, Krista Stensrud, a freelance stylist in the Target Corp., fashion office in Minneapolis.

There is no cost to attend the show. The event is sponsored by the UNI Textile and Apparel program, Northern Iowa Student Government, and the Department of Design, Family, and Consumer Sciences.
