UNI Suzuki School fall registration is open

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa's Suzuki School is now accepting registrations for the 2013-14 academic year. Violin and viola registration is open to students 7 years and older. Cello and guitar registration is open to students 4 years and older. Adult students are also welcome. Registration forms for returning students are due by Saturday, Aug. 10.

New students will be able to register at an open house from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, in the lobby of Russell Hall. Interested students and their families are invited to attend. Visitors can meet teachers and staff, watch student demonstrations and get information about the upcoming year.

The UNI Suzuki School offers music instruction for students of all ages in violin, viola, cello and guitar. Students of any experience level are welcome. In addition, the school sponsors several orchestras, music ensembles, has unique music-related classes and numerous performance opportunities, including solo and group performances.
