CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa's 45th annual recognition breakfast will be Saturday, May 3, honoring employees retiring within the 2002-2003 fiscal year, with the equivalent of five or more years of fulltime service.

The 8:15 a.m. breakfast sponsored by the UNI Foundation, is in the Commons' Slife Ballroom and open to all current and former university employees and their families.

This year's honorees are (years of service follow in parentheses), from the College of Education: Sharon Huddleston, professor of physical education (29.5); Sally Ludwig, clerk II, Price Lab School (26); Wanpen Murgatroyd, assistant professor of education (5); Benjamin F. Myers, instructor in teaching, Price Lab School (16);Donald Schmits, associate professor of education (26); Thomas Switzer, dean of the College of Education (15).

From the College of Business Administration: Carol Bolin, secretary III, College of Business Administration (16).

From the College of Humanities and Fine Arts: Steven Bigler, professor of art (25); Jacques DuBois, assistant professor of modern languages (37); Judith F.
