CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa Job & Internship Fair+ will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, Sept. 21, in the McLeod Center. Companies, organizations, nonprofits and graduate schools will be there to network with UNI students and alumni, as well as discuss internships and full-time job opportunities. Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resume to share with company, organization and graduate school representatives.
"During this event we anticipate nearly 1,500 students engaging with more than 165 hiring organizations and up to 30 graduate programs," said Matt Nuese, associate director of UNI Career Services. "This is our fifth consecutive year of having more organizations and graduate schools, growing from 140 in 2010 to over 185 today. During that same timeframe we have seen a 20 percent increase in student attendance."
