CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa Interpreters Theatre will present “Boys Will be Boys” at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 2; Friday, March 3; and Saturday, March 4, in the Interpreters Theatre in 040 Lang Hall on the UNI campus.

“Boys Will be Boys” takes a closer look into current issues surrounding the relationship between masculinity and violence. Using a collaboration of dramatic and satirical scenes, “Boys Will Be Boys,” directed by graduate student Ryan Courtney, examines subjects associated with masculinity to question how U.S. culture teaches boys to be men. Performances will be followed by an audience discussion of the themes and issues that emerge from the show.

The event is free and open to the public; seating is limited. This production contains mature language and situations. Tickets will be passed out on a first come, first serve basis beginning at 6:30 p.m. The doors open at 7 p.m. For more information, contact Amandajean Freking Nolte at 319-273-3793 or amandajean.nolte@uni.edu.
