Tony Award-winning musical 'Annie' to be performed at Gallagher Bluedorn

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- "Annie," one of the world's best-loved family musicals, will be performed at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 14, on the University of Northern Iowa campus.

"Annie" is directed by original lyricist and director Martin Charnin and choreographed by Liza Gennaro. The musical tells the story of a remarkable redhead and her relentlessly optimistic pursuit of her dreams. This performance of the musical will be a brand new incarnation of the iconic original, and includes well-known songs "It's A Hard-Knock Life," "Easy Street," "I Don't Need Anything But You" and "Tomorrow."

Ticket prices for the "Annie" performance start at $26 and can be purchased at any UNItix locations, at www.gbpac.com or by calling 319-273-4849. UNI students must bring their school ID to the Gallagher Bluedorn box office to receive their free ticket.
