Theatre UNI hosts 'To Kill a Mockingbird' race relations conversation

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa's Theatre UNI, in collaboration with the Sturgis Youth Theatre, will host 'Talk That Talk,' a community conversation on the history and current status of race relations in the Cedar Valley, at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, April 13, in the Bertha Martin Theatre in UNI's Strayer-Wood Theatre.

The talk will take place in conjunction with the Theatre UNI production of 'To Kill A Mockingbird,' and is facilitated by Scharron Clayton, UNI associate professor of ethnic and cultural studies, and Janet McClain, UNI instructor in curriculum and instruction.

The conversation is funded in part by Humanities Iowa and the National Endowment for Humanities.
