Kroeger named UNI's new associate vice president of enrollment management

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Matthew Kroeger has been named the associate vice president of enrollment management at the University of Northern Iowa. His official state date was Thursday, July 31. Matthew Kroeger, AVP for enrollment management

Kroeger earned a M.Ed. with Distinction in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University and a bachelor's degree in business from UNI. In his most recent position, he served as director of recruitment and admissions at Idaho State University. Prior to that, Kroeger worked at the University of Iowa as the senior associate director of admissions. He also served in leadership roles in admissions at Northern Arizona University and Morningside College.

During his time at UNI, Kroeger will create and lead a team in charge of working across the university to envision and deliver an optimal enrollment program, among other enrollment responsibilities.

"This is an exciting time to be returning to my alma mater," said Kroeger. "I'm looking forward to collaborating with colleagues from across campus and other areas to positively impact UNI's enrollment and the student experience in the years to come. My wife and I are also excited to be returning to the Cedar Valley where we can raise our two children and be closer to our families."
