CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa's School of Health, Physical Education and Leisure Services will hold the Kindergym program again this spring. The program will be offered on six Saturdays starting Jan. 23 and ending March 5 in the main gym at the Wellness Recreation Center (WRC) on UNI's campus.

Kindergym is an informal learning program focusing on the development and refinement of motor skills for 2- to 5- year-olds. The 4- and 5-year-olds will meet from 9 to 9:50 a.m., and the 2- and 3-year-olds will meet from 10 to 10:50 a.m. The registration fee is $35, which includes an official Kindergym T-shirt.

Kindergym is a parent/child program, so parents are requested to attend the sessions with their child. The physical activity stations will focus on age-appropriate movement skills that encourage success in a fun atmosphere.
