CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa's Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center (GBPAC) will host keyboardist Bruce Hornsby at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 24, in the Great Hall of the GBPAC.
Hornsby has won numerous awards throughout his career, including a Grammy Award for best new artist. Known for his thoughtful lyrics, distinctive right-hand piano runs and creativity in live performances, he has refused to be pinned down stylistically. Hornsby has collaborated with artists such as the Grateful Dead, Bonnie Raitt, Don Henley, Ricky Skaggs, Bela Fleck and Branford Marsalis.

This event is part of the GBPAC's 2014-15 Artist Series "Spark, Ignite, Inspire." The Artist Series brings internationally acclaimed artists and programs to UNI for the benefit of students, faculty, staff and members of the surrounding community.
