Free webinars on sales and use tax for Iowa business owners

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Two free online webinars on sales and use tax for Iowa businesses are scheduled in June and July. Part one will be from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, and part two will be from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 22.

These one-hour events are specialized for small business owners, and will provide an overview of Iowa sales and use tax. Part one will include information about common taxable services. Part two will cover local option sales tax. The presenter is Terry O'Neill, taxpayer service specialist with the Iowa Department of Revenue.

The webinars are presented by IASourceLink at the University of Northern Iowa and the UNI Center for Business Growth and Innovation, partnered with the Iowa Department of Revenue.
