CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Former NFL player Tim Dwight will lead a bike tour of the four Iowa towns participating in the "Get Energized, Iowa" energy-saving competition Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6 and 7. The tour will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, in Dike, and pass through the other three towns participating in the competition, Hudson, Readlyn and Fairbank, as well as stops in Cedar Falls and Waverly.

The bike tour aims to promote "Get Energized, Iowa," a competition to see which one of these four towns can reduce the most energy consumption. Between 20 and 40 people are expected to participate in the tour, which will end in Waverly at 3 p.m., on Sunday.
