2017 Cedar Valley Local Food and Film Festival on March 4 in Waterloo

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The 2017 Cedar Valley Local Food and Film Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 4, at the Waterloo Center for the Arts located at 225 Commercial St. in Waterloo.

The festival will have information about community-supported agriculture subscriptions, and the 2017 Buy Fresh Buy Local Directory will be available for pick up. Local food producers and vendors will be at the event with local food available for purchase. The festival will also feature a screening of the film “Vanishing of the Bees” at 11 a.m. Local bee keeper Tim Laughlin will lead a discussion following the film.
